National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides support to Australians with disabilities, their families and carers.

The NDIS helps people achieve their goals, including independence, community involvement, education, employment and health and wellbeing.

Eskleigh is a registered NDIS provider and can assist you in developing and implementing your NDIS plan.

Depending upon your individual situation and level of funding, all of Eskleigh's services can be accessed via the NDIS.

Eskleigh charges at the price limit, inline with the NDIS Support Catalogue (click here to view the price guide).

Eskleigh sets it’s travel charge based on the transport per kilometre guidance of the NDIS inline with it’s fleet of disability modified and standard vehicles and ongoing costs to operate. The vehicle charge policy is available on request & is routinely provided to all Eskleigh participants.

Note the NDIS transport values are guidance figures only and do not represent maximum charges that providers can charge

Talk to your NDIS Support Coordinator to discover how Eskleigh services can form part of your NDIS Support Plan or speak with an Eskleigh Support Coordinator on 03 6398 7100.

Motor Accidents
Insurance Board (MAIB)

The Motor Accidents Insurance Board (MAIB) provides insurance cover for those who are injured in a motor accident. Funding for this compensation is provided by Tasmanian motorists through the payment of compulsory premiums on registered motor vehicles. MAIB pays for a range of treatment and support services for eligible people who have been injured regardless of fault.

If you have been injured in, and/or received medical treatment following a motor accident, you are able to make a claim with MAIB who will pay for a range of treatment and support services to help you in your recovery after an accident. The treatment and support services include

  • Medical, hospital and ambulance services, including the services of doctors and health professionals (e.g. physiotherapists);

  • Housekeeping assistance (for people unable to carry out their normal household duties);

  • Travel to obtain treatment under certain circumstances;

  • Rehabilitation services, such as help getting you back to work.

Eskleigh is a preferred provider to the MAIB and can assist with a range of medical, rehabilitation, travel and in-home support services.

Speak with an Eskleigh Support Coordinator on 03 6398 7100 to discover how you can access Eskleigh support services as a MAIB client.

Support can be offered as a one-off short-term arrangement or provided over the longer-term depending upon your needs.

Eskleigh can work with you to help determine the type of support required and implement a suitable payment plan.
